Walk with Path Insoles
-
The insoles should already be connected. If they have disconnected for some reason, please follow the reconnection steps in the main guidance booklet or contact o.greenhalgh@lancaster.ac.uk
-
Place the charging circle on the heel of each insole. They are not magnetised, so please ensure the circles are lined up with the circles on the heel of the insole. You should see a blue light if the insoles are charging. It takes 4-6 hours to recharge
-
Once fully charged, the smart insoles should last at least 1 day. We recommend charging overnight.
-
When on the ‘my activity’ page, press ‘view more’ under ‘Pressure Distribution’ and then press ‘My Data in Real-Time’ to see a live pressure map of your foot. Low pressure is blue, medium pressure is green to yellow and higher pressure is orange to red.
-
On the homepage scroll down to the bottom of the page and press ‘start custom test’. Press ‘continue’ until you see a page titled ‘recording’. You can now walk around for 2 minutes and then press ‘finish test’. You can then enter a name for the test (not mandatory) or press ‘continue.’ You have now completed a walk test!
